Today is the last day of summer.

In fact, tonight is a school night. (That means earlier bed time but you stay up until 4 A.M. cause your insides are all fluttery.)

I don't really want to talk about it... I'm kind of emotional when it comes to the end of summer...
We shared so many memories - it's also my last summer in highschool. Eep! That makes me feel a little scared inside.

I've been in school every year for 12 years. Pre-school totally counts. I have discovered now...

They can't trick me.

I know what school is - I know what homework is - I know what late assignments are - I know what projects are - I know what group projects are - I know what gossip is - I know what rude people are - I know what having seizures at school is like...
I KNOW EVERYTHING!

But I also know that everything will be okay. Things are always okay. I love how it works that way!
I have a good schedule - I have many many friends - I am smart - I am brave...

I'm sure things will turn out great. If not... I'm totally fine with homeschooling. *wink wink*

Sometimes I don't feel like I'm old enough to be a senior in highschool, I still can't do 3rd grade math very well ya know, but then I think of how long I've been going to school and it feels ready. I've been going to that highschool for two years now. TWO YEARS PEOPLE!! What an accomplishment!! Through all my hardships and stumbles along the way, (some real stumbles and the rest are the metaphorical kinds) I have loved highschool. Lucky me!

I Am A Very Ladylike Kind of Person

I decided that saying "WHAT THE POOP" probably isn't a very ladylike thing to say on a blog. But if you have to Google if ladylike is one word or two words or has a hyphen and then you have to Google how to spell hyphen..

You're probably not very ladylike anyway.

Sometimes My Brain Is Forgetful

"I feel like I didn't do anything."

After talking with my mom, I felt like a big loser for saying "I feel like I didn't do anything." HA! These are somethings I did this summer:

• Went to the American Idol concert! Casey Adams? Yes, please. He is absolutely DREAMY. So much fun to go to a concert with the fam though! It was amazing and we had a BLAST!


• Mom, little sister, brother, and some of their friends (and I) went to an art museum and a creative buzz was exactly what I needed to last the summer.


• Girls Camp!


• Babysitting. I can honestly say that I enjoyed some of it. Some of it.


• I had an online class this summer. English. It was really good for me, again, just what I needed to last out the summer.


• EFY!!! Just two weeks ago, I went to EFY, Especially For Youth, and it was delightful.


• I played with my brother and his wife. They are the two cheeriest people I know. Love those guys! Went shopping with his wifey and had some deep chats with my brother. Brothers can be bums sometimes, but I really love them. Sometimes.

Turns out I did a lot this summer! Whoop!

She Has Surfaced!

I haven't blogged in ages.
It's been really nice.
I get bored of blogging.

But my passion for blogging has been re-birthed and the fire is raging!

Summer is over. Almost. Sometimes I feel like I don't do anything. And when I say "Sometimes I feel like I don't do anything," I mean it.

This summer:

• I've gotten better at brushing my teeth. (You can "hip hip hooray!" if you'd like)



• Guitar has become easier for me. I've even learned a few bar chords! That is a HUGE accomplishment for me. My fingers are weak sauce.



• I started doing "cardboard art." I'll have to post some pictures but I'm too lazy so that is an empty promise. ANYWAY. I paint something on a piece of old cardboard (I feel bad painting on paper. Feels like a waste.) and then I shave down the cardboard around the paint so it's like, cool. I CAN'T EXPLAIN! Oh well.



• BIG CHECK!!! I wont a big check! That was on my bucket list, to win a big check. It sits proudly in my bedroom and my pride swells each time I see it. I make sure I see it a lot.



• TOMS. I bought some. Olive green Toms. They are beautiful. Yum.

I can't think of anything else. I'm back to that "I feel like I didn't do anything" feeling. That's okay. What I did, was delicious.

I Dislike the Following...

• School



• Homework



• Chipped fingernail polish



• Gum with no flavor because you have been chewing it for three hours.



• Unbrushed teeth. My own and others..



• People who text too much. There is a fine line between how much is appropriate to send and how much is not.



• Finding a hole in your shirt that you didn't know was there when you put it on.



• Bad hair days



• Cold feet, even when you're wearing warm socks. It just goes against everything logical.



• That itch on your back that you can't reach so it just continues to itch until you forget about it.



• Being far away from people you love..



• Big foreheads. I have one of them.



• Cavities



• Being cold

Right Now I Would Enjoy Doing the Following:

• Eat a whole box of melted otter pops.


• Drive. Just drive. I don't care where to, I would just like to drive.


• Trim the three bushes in our front yard. I don't know why, but I really like doing that. Of course unless I'm told to do it. Then I refuse. :)


• Burrow my feet in warm sand.


• Knit a sweater out of something outrageous. Like dental floss.


• Cuddle with a really big, fuzzy dog.


• Sit on my favorite street corner and do nothing but sit.


• Color in a princess coloring book.


• Jump in that foam pit at Flips you play in at birthday parties when you're like, 8.


• Drink cran-raspberry juice with lots of ice and a straw.


• Get a haircut. I love those things.


• Tickle my cute nephew, Charlie.


• Play that game at Chucke E. Cheese where you push the button to knock over bugs with your lizard tongue.


• Lay on a blanket and look at the stars while wearing my favorite sweatshirt that I "borrowed" a half a year ago from my big brother.


• Put waffle batter into the waffle maker thing. I don't want to eat the waffle, I just like scooping it onto the sizzling pan and watching it get all squished.


• I would also like to open the waffle maker just to see the waffle stuck to the top of the skillet/pan thing and break it off 'cause you left it on for too long so now it's reeeeally crispy. Mmmm!


• Tear sticky notes apart because I like feeling the sticky stuff separate. It feels nice.

I'm Tired and Crabby

I'm tired and Crabby. If I just go to bed, I won't be crabby anymore. I'm too crabby to do that. I guess I'll just be crabby for a while. (I smiled at this post... Now I'm not so crabby:))

Oh, The Joys of Vomiting...

• No one saw me puke at school! I made it to the Lady's Room and regurgitated my breakfast in peace.
• The office assistant quickly wrote up my note in record time! (He started writing faster as I was telling my mom why I needed to come home)
• Green Christmas pajamas faithfully awaited in my middle drawer and I was soon much more than before when wearing a skirt. (Wearing the cutest outfit ever, it was a shame I had to leave early)
• Adrian Monk cheered me up with his humorous OCD quirks as I watched him on TBS.
• Conan O'Brien is such a dear and make me laugh out loud, even though I was all by myself. (I love laughing out loud when there's no one there to hear it but you)
• My darling mother was my nurse and I wanted to just hug her all day, but I didn't because I might have thrown up on her.
• The Celebrity Apprentice was taped from Sunday night and I shouldn't have watched it because it just made me stressed and upset. Those people aren't even celebrities, but whatever.
• Bubbly Sprite tickled my insides and in the end settled my stomach so I was able to feel much better.

Oh, the joys of vomiting!
